Post-transition analysis

Upon completion of a transition, our clients receive a detailed post-transition report. This report audits all documentation and correspondence. It provides a comprehensive cost analysis of the transition and compares the final results to the pre-transition estimate. We use the implementation shortfall method1 to measure the cost of a transition. Our post-transition report will attribute the costs of the transition and compare the outcome against our pre-transition estimate. Furthermore, we follow up this post-transition analysis with a meeting, in person or by teleconference, to review the analysis and answer any questions you may have.

1 Implementation Shortfall

Implementation shortfall is the difference in performance between the theoretical target portfolio and the actual transition portfolio at the end of the transition period. Implementation shortfall captures all explicit and implicit costs of the transition.
